Created by world famous designer Karim Rashid, and recommended by the Cooking Club of America, the slice™ Y-Peeler features a super-sharp ceramic blade that lasts ten times longer than steel. Equally important, it looks like some crazy weapon out of Star Trek! Make quick work of peeling potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, soft foods like peaches, tomatoes, and slippery bell peppers — even tough-skinned mangos! Seriously, mangos! The ergonomic design fits comfortably in both small and large hands with a non-slip handle that’s lightweight to prevent fatigue. The ceramic blade is non-allergenic, chemically neutral, and impervious to acid, fat and salt – boom, take that salt. The Y-Peeler won’t brown food, transfer smells, or leave a metallic taste as well. Plus a minimum of 1% of all Slice product sales is donated to help fund autism research. What are the three R’s? Reduce, reuse and recycle, right? Well, Adrian Johnson found an interesting way to practice these actions with his creation, Fridgecouch. Although the original intention may have been to save a few bucks on outdoor seating, it has turned into a novel idea that helps the environment and creates some really unique home furnishings. One thing is for sure, if you own a Fridgecouch you have some of the coolest seating around.

Close your eyes and remember when you opened up your first Nintendo system. Now you can re-live that glorious moment with the first zapper experience ever – Duck Hunt! This tribute item is an upturned NES Zapper lamp attached solidly to it’s Duck Hunt Cartridge Base. What better way to pay homage to our Zapper Memories and dreams of shooting that damn laughing dog? A push switch at the base of the light socket activates the lamp, and the power plug comes out of the handle of the gun, just like the original cable. Another fun fact; the gun color can be either orange or grey. Check out more of the awesome work from Retro Recyle (based all the way from London) here on their Broodr shop.

Damn, Nicki has never looked so good, right? The full title of the print is Tarot De Les Vicieux Paroliers III: The Empress/Nicki Minaj. For those of you who need a little help with the translation, Tarot De Les Vicieux Paroliers means Tarot Of The Vicious Lyricists, which is an ongoing series of combining hip-hop artists with tarot cards. The Empress card is all about sexuality, desire, wealth and fertility… yeah, Behold the Destroyer got it right, Ms. Minaj fits the role perfectly.

There is nothing more “Baller” than a large, perfectly shaped eye sphere in your straight liquor. How do you get this said ice orb? You need the Cirrus Ice Ball Press. Simply get a large chunk of ice and place it in the device. A couple minutes later the weighted piece will drop down, melting and forming your chunk of ice into a shiny clear ball. Just make sure you have big enough glasses for it. This is a great presentation for any party.

We pretty much like every single piece of work that Andrew Groves puts together. Our favorites are his personal prints that are patterns/characters of simple shapes and colors. The Crystal of Wisdom (above) is a prime example of Mr. Groves styles and humor. You have to check out Society6 to buy his work and we we he had more up on there.

In this edition of the Web Trend Map there are no Metro lines, no URLS. This time, it’s the 140, a number you may be familiar with, most influential people on twitter, sorted by #name #handle #category #influence #activity. Plus: When they started tweeting and what they first said. It took quite some time until we had it in the shape we envisioned.

We really think the Chalkboards Maps by Shop Dirtsa would be a great addition to any child’s room, or for those of us who still have that child inside us. Graphically simple with vintage details. You can express your fondness for your state, map your travels or just color as you please. The white map outline will always stay but with a piece of chalk and a damp cloth you can doodle and edit easily.
